What is STARIA Teaching Approach?
- Individual Goals - Through regular assessment and ability tests, we will establish appropriate goals and learning strategies for each student to improve their capabilities. Our coaches will keep track students' learning speed and assist students to move forward towards their goals step by step.
- Self-Directed Learning Habits- Students will be encouraged to take initiative to be independent and responsible for their own goals. Students will also be guided by our coaches using "LEARNING AT YOUR OWN PACE" concept and make sure self-directed students will know how to embraces responsibility. Through our continous guidance from our coaches, students will achieve their goals and develop their discipline for self learning.
- Immediate 1:1 Coaching Evaluation - During the 1:1 session, our coaches will offer personalised assistance for students to complete various Rhythmic Gymnastics skills as according to their abilities. Our coaches will help to solve problems, difficulties and overcome technique stagnation, so as to improve students' overall ability in Rhythmic Gymnastics.
- Small-Steps Approach - Our coaches instruct our students on a "step by step" basis. Through encouraging, more engagement in our training sessions and developing their interest in Rhythmic Gymnastics, students can make progress step by step.
- Progress Tracking & Mastery - Continual practises is the key to achieve maximum improvement. Our program provides an environment where students can learn at their own pace, so that our students will be able to master various Rhythmic Gymnastics techniques and skills. This will boost students' interest and confidence in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Staria is not an ordinary academy of rhythmic gymnastics and dance performing arts

Within Staria's courses, we are not just focusing on teaching rhythmic gymnastics, dance, and performing arts courses, we also focus on physical and mental development of children.
The goal of Staria is to help each student establish a personal goal. Through systematic and persistent practice, students can build self-confidence, build a perfect posture, improve hand-eye and body coordination, build up their endurance, as well as left and right brains development.

Ms Tina Huang (Head coach)
Ms Huang started learning Rhythmic Gymnastics at the age of five. She represented the Chinese National Team in the 1996 Atlantic Olympics and other World Championships. She has won numerous awards and has over 18 years of teaching experience. She hopes to enhances gymnasts' artistic and technical skills, build up their endurance, and cultivate a good communication skills through her experience.
